Dear Allah,
I pray that as I experience this pain, I feel You with me. I see now that the purpose of life is not to escape or to rush my way out of the difficult and heartbreaking moments, but Lord now I see it's to be with you amidst the storms that shake my heart. Lord I see that You are with me even as my world falls apart.
There is treasure in every wall and bridge that You allow to break. Lord I see that to be faithful is not to be immune from pain, but to know that You are with me in the pain. I call upon Your presence for only when I am your slave am I free. My Lord, "I am in need of whatever goodness you can send down to me."
